Truly a classic RPG, you play the hero chosen by the people to slay the evil Sorcerer. Travel from town to town, searching for clues, fighting monsters, and following a path that will ultimately lead to the final confrontation between good and evil.

This translation was originally taken up by the "Official #ROMhack" page. However, for reasons unknown, the translation was dropped. I became interested in Deep Dungeon IV when looking for a side project to take up while working on Dragon Quest V. Teaming up with WeirdMan_, I was able to organize a small team to take up the translation of this fairly unheard of game. There were a lot of problems with translating the text, and although our original translator was able to get 90% of the text translated, there still left another 10% of unfinished work. This slowed us down a bit, as we had to find another translator. It was a pain, but fortunately, we were able to get some help. Enjoy.
